Pricing questions
What is the difference between plans?
Plan size — people and career frameworks — plus two paid additions: Slack notifications and the option to require Google or Microsoft sign-in. Every core feature is on every plan. Plans differ in team size — up to 10 people on Free, up to 35 people on Starter, up to 80 people on Growth and any number of people on Scale — and in career frameworks: 1 career framework on Free, up to 5 career frameworks on Starter, up to 10 career frameworks on Growth and unlimited career frameworks on Scale. On Starter, Growth and Scale, an admin can connect your Slack workspace so that notifications reach people as Slack messages instead of emails, and on Starter, Growth and Scale, an admin can require Google or Microsoft sign-in for the whole organisation.
How does per-organisation pricing work?
You pay one flat monthly price for the whole organisation instead of a fee per person. Each plan has a seat limit, and within it adding a colleague does not change what you pay.
What counts as a seat?
Each person with access to your organisation’s LadderKit uses one seat, whatever their role — managers and team members alike.
What counts as a career framework?
Each department has one career framework: its tracks, levels, roles and skills. A plan’s framework limit is the number of departments you can describe.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan covers up to 10 people and 1 career framework, and you don’t need a credit card to start.
Can we change plans later?
Yes. You can move to a different plan at any time from your organisation’s settings.
Do prices include VAT?
No. Prices are shown without VAT. VAT is calculated automatically from your billing address and shown on every invoice.
How do we pay?
By card, billed monthly. Invoices, VAT details and card details are all in your organisation’s settings.
What happens if we cancel?
Your paid plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, and you can reactivate it before then.
